From April 19 to 30, 2023, orders of BLUETTI EP500Pro will receive a free Blue Bluetti AC50S , limited to only 5 orders.

BLUETTI EP500Pro 5100Wh/3000W Solar Power Station Home Energy Station LiFePO4 Battery Peak Load 6000W

The BLUETTI EP500Pro is one of the most powerful and also the most versatile power station on the market. The groundbreaking LiFePO4 battery and the advanced technology make this power station a special device. The solution for in and around the house, camper, holiday home or during an event.

The Bluetti EP500 Pro has a capacity of no less than 5100Wh and is suitable for powering devices with a maximum power of up to 3000W (6000W peak load). Think of refrigerators/cool boxes, a water pump, coffee maker, electric tools, electric (camping) hobs, etc. The EP500 Pro series has simple operation and is completely plug-and-play. With the mobile wheels on the bottom of the EP500 Pro it is possible to move the power station.

A unique detail of the EP500 Pro is the integrated UPS system. This system ensures that when the power goes out, your devices can still be supplied with power. When the power drops to an unstable rate, it will be detected in the BMS system and the EP500 Pro will supply the correct amount of power to whatever is currently connected to the power station.

With the app you monitor, manage and optimize the power consumption from anywhere. Thanks to this application, you have at your fingertips: information about the status of the charging station and charging options to maximize battery life. Moreover, you can easily download the latest firmware updates. The EP500 Pro is also equipped with a smart and user-friendly touchscreen to operate all functions of the system.

The integrated LiFePO4 battery lasts for many years, even with intensive, daily use. With over 6,000 charge cycles, this battery has one of the highest life cycle ratings for portable power stations. With 365 days a year, this system can be used for more than 16 years before reaching the reduced battery capacity of 60%. Even after the first 6000 charge cycles, the EP500 Pro Power Station will still work, only with a reduced battery capacity.

Via the AC charging cable, the EP500 Pro can be charged within a short time, namely within 2, 2.5 hours. It is also possible to charge the EP500 Pro via solar panels. The maximum input is 2400 W. This allows the charging time to be limited to approximately 3 to 4 hours. When you charge the EP500 Pro simultaneously, the maximum input is 4000W and the charging is only 1,5 hours.

The EP500 Pro has different outputs, from USB-A, USB-C PD (100W), Wireless Qi, 12V – 10A (regulated) & 12V – 30A to 230 volts AC. The 12V – 30A output is suitable for the caravan, boat or motorhome, where several 12V devices can be connected to 1 single input (up to 30A – 360W max.).

FAQs:

Q1: In-Grid UPS Setup Guide A: 1)For non-solar-powered household circuits: An electrician with a professional technician certificate is required to install the in-grid power system, connect the wires of critical equipment from your main electrical box to the BLUETTI UPS BOX. When the power fails, it will automatically switch to EP500 or EP500 Pro for the power supply. The connection method: power grid–home main circuit–BLUETTI UPS box–EP500 or EP500Pro–critical equipment (such as refrigerator, electric light, and server).

2)Solar-powered UPS: 1.If the open-circuit voltage of the solar panels is within the specified input range of EP500, they can be directly connected into EP500 or EP500Pro through the MC4 port connectors to build up the UPS system. 2.If the open-circuit voltage of your panels exceeds the input limitation of EP500 or EP500Pro, they need to pass the “PV step-down module” to decrease the voltage before connecting into the system. The connection method is solar panels–PV step-down module–EP500 or EP500Pro–critical equipment (such as refrigerator, electric light, and server).

Q2: Does EP500 or EP500Pro support split phase bonding? A: No.

Q3: Can I change the working mode of EP500 or EP500Pro to work as a mobile UPS after the EP500 connected to the home grid? A: Yes, you can. Turn off EP500 or EP500Pro first, and then unplug the cable on it, remind to set the Max. Grid Current to 15A.

Q4: What is the UPS switching time? A: There are two types of working conditions of UPS for EP500. No delay for online UPS.; 20ms from standby UPS

Q5: How much is the loss of AC and DC? A: In standby state: less than 10W, AC_ON & DC_OFF: less than 20W, AC-ON & DC_ON: less than 25W

Q6: After thestated 6000 battery cycles, how much capacity is left in EP500 and EP50Pro? A: EP500 and EP500 Pro can maintain above 50% capacity after 6000 cycles.

Q7: What’s the frequency? A: 60Hz: US, Canada 50Hz: Europe, UK, Australia Frequency 50/60Hz cannot be switched.

Q8: What should I do if the solar panels on the roof of my house exceed the open circuit voltage requirement? A: You can reduce the open-circuit voltage by ordering a BLUETTI PV Voltage Drop Modular. Doesn’t require changing the original installation and connection method of solar panels in your house. Through this modular, the open-circuit voltage of roof panels can be matched with the input specs of EP500/EP500Pro

Q9: Can I use third party solar panel and what conditions need to be met? A: Yes, you can. However, it must meet: 1)Open Circuit Voltage(OCV): EP500: 55-145V/Max.20A, Max.1200W. EP500Pro: dual MPPT,each is 35-150V/Max.12A,1200W Max. (2400W Max. For dual connection). 2)Suitable MC4 connector. 3)We recommend that the solar panels to be connected should be of the same brand.

Q10: Are there any restrictions on the use of the 100W USB-C port? A: The charging power will work at only 60W at most instead of 30W if the USB-C cable does not have 5A MFI certification.

Q11: After the DC port of 12V 30A is opened, can the other DC ports be used? A: No, for the 30A large-current, the other ports besides 12V/30A RV ports won`t work. In addition, you must cover the rubber plug when the DC is turned on and the 12V/30A port is idle , otherwise it may cause a short circuit if the cable falls in.
